Eligibility Criteria for OPaL Vacancy 2017:

Educational Qualification:

  1. Cracker Operations -Graduate Engineering degree in Chemical/Petrochemical Engineering with hands on experience of Petrochemicals/Refinery/Chemicals/Fertilisers/Hydrocarbon industries, etc., for a large organisation of repute. Experience in DCS Operations of Cracker will be preferred. Candidate with First class degree in the mentioned qualification and pre-commissioning/commissioning/start-up, shutdown experience in the above relevant area will be given preference.
  2. HDPE Operations – Graduate Engineering degree in Chemical/Petrochemical Engineering or Polymer Technology with hands on experience in petrochemicals/Polymers/Chemicals/Hydrocarbon Industries, etc. for a large organisation of repute. Experience in DCS operations in Polymer (HDPE) plants will be preferred. Candidate with First class degree in the mentioned qualification and pre-commissioning/commissioning/start-up, shutdown experience in the above relevant area will be given preference.
  3. PP Operations – Graduate Engineering degree in Chemical/Petrochemical Engineering or Polymer Technology with hands on experience in petrochemicals/Polymers/Chemicals/Hydrocarbon Industries, etc. for a large organisation of repute. Experience in DCS operations in Polymer (PP) plants will be preferred. Candidate with First class degree in the mentioned qualification and pre-commissioning/commissioning/start-up, shutdown experience in the above relevant area will be given preference.
  4. PE Operations – Graduate Engineering degree in Chemical/Petrochemical Engineering or Polymer Technology with hands on experience in petrochemicals/Polymers/Chemicals/Hydrocarbon Industries, etc. for a large organisation of repute. Experience in DCS operations in Polymer (PE) plants will be preferred. Butene-1 Operations -Graduate Engineering degree in Chemical/Petrochemical Engineering or Polymer Technology with hands on experience in petrochemicals/Polymers/Chemicals/Hydrocarbon Industries, etc. for a large organisation of repute. Experience in Butene plants shall have an added advantage. Candidate with First class degree in the mentioned qualification and pre-commissioning/commissioning/start-up, shutdown experience in the above relevant area will be given preference.
  6. U&O Operations – Graduate Engineering degree in Chemical engineering/Mechanical Engineering with hands on experience in Utilities & Offsets (DM water, Nitrogen, compressed Air, raw water, RO, Ultrafiltration, cooling towers, effluent treatment, tank farms, gantry operations etc.) DCS operation for a large organisation of repute, preferably in petrochemicals, Hydrocarbon, Chemicals, fertilisers industries etc Person should have knowledge of SAP, chemicals handling and related safety systems. Candidate with First class degree in the mentioned qualification and pre-commissioning/commissioning/start-up, shutdown experience in the above relevant area will be given preference.
  7. Maintenance – Bachelor Engineering degree in Mechanical or metallurgical with experience in relevant field. Candidate with First class degree in the mentioned qualification and relevant experience in Petrochemical / Refinery / Chemical / Fertiliser Industries will be given preference. Certification in API 510/570/653,CSWIP,AWS, NACE certification in corrosion management is preferred, qualification in level 2 in MPI/UT/RT is required, level 3 is preferred.
  8. HSE – Graduate in Chemical Engineering and post graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety with having experience in HSE for a large organisation of repute, preferably in Petrochemical / Refinery / Chemical / Fertiliser Industries / Hydrocarbon Industries. Candidate with First class degree in the mentioned qualification and experience in the above relevant area will be given preference. Experience in Fire department will have an added advantage
  9. Fire – Bachelor degree in Fire Engineering with relevant experience of Fire department . Candidate with First class degree in the mentioned qualification and relevant experience in Petrochemical / Refinery / Chemical / Fertiliser Industries will be given preference.
  10. Warehouse Operations – First Class Bachelor degree in Engineering OR Full time MBA/PG Qualification with specialisation in Marketing/SCM/ Logistics in First Class and with relevant experience in Warehouse / Logistics / Shipping, etc. Candidate with relevant experience in Petrochemical / Refinery / Chemical / Fertiliser Industries will be given preference.
  11. Information Technology – First Class Bachelor Engineering Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or Electronics & Telecommunications or Electronics & communications or Masters of Computer Application (MCA) from a reputed Institute with experience in managing mission critical enterprise IT Systems & services, including telecommunication infrastructure and regulatory framework. IT implementations, IT Security, risk assessment & mitigation. To Manage multiple technology partners. Experience of handling team of size 20 +. Candidate with relevant experience in a large size manufacturing company will be given preference. Candidates holding ITIL Master Level Certification or any other relevant certification in IT Service Management (ITSM) will have an added advantage.
  12. SAP – First Class BE / B. Tech. / MBA Marketing . Professional Certification of SAP in Sales & Distribution will be an added advantage.
  13. Human Resources – Full time first class MBA or first class equivalent degree in HR with hands on experience in talent management, Organizational development, learning & development, PMS, employee engagement activities, etc., for a large organisation of repute, preferably in petrochemicals or Hydrocarbon Industry and having exceptional leadership qualities and experience in senior roles.
  14. Legal – First Class LLB Degree from reputed university duly recognized by Bar Council of India. Experience in dealing legal issues relating to tendering process, EPC contracts, arbitration, Labour Laws, etc. in large size manufacturing organisation preferably in Petrochemicals/ Hydrocarbon sector.
  15. Occupational Health – First Class LLB Degree from reputed university duly recognized by Bar Council of India. Experience in dealing legal issues relating to tendering process, EPC contracts, arbitration, Labour Laws, etc. in large size manufacturing organisation preferably in Petrochemicals/ Hydrocarbon sector.
  16. Corporate Communication – First Class Full time MBA/PG with specialisation in Mass Communication or Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication / Public Relations / Advertising. Should have experience in handling media, website updating, press briefing etc. for large corporate houses / media houses. Candidate with relevant experience in a large size Organisation will be given preference.
  17. Security – Candidate with first class Graduate with experience as commissioned officer in armed forces / Central Police Organizations / Security Management in Large size organisation. Candidates meeting the criteria and having additional 5 years experience in Supervisory grade may also apply. Candidate having experience in relevant field in a large size petrochemicals /refinery/Oil & Gas/fertiliser company will be given preference.

Candidate’s Age Limit Should not exceed (For Sr. Executive – 32 Years), (For Executive – 27 years), (For Manager – 40 years), (For Deputy General Manager – 45 Years), (For Assistant Manager – 35 Years), .
